CAMS2022 Advanced Materials and Manufacturing

CAMS2021 has been renamed to CAMS2022 and rescheduled to 01-03 June 2022 to ensure we are able to have a face-to-face conference.

Attend Australia’s largest interdisciplinary technical meeting and hear about the latest advances in materials science, engineering and technology. Our technical program will cover a range of themes identified by researchers and industry as issues of topical interest.

Please submit abstracts online by 28th February 2022

We invite prospective authors to submit a brief abstract, less than 250 words and including 3 key words.
The symposia theme(s) should be indicated. All abstracts must be submitted online, click here.

Symposia Themes:

  • Additive, advanced & future manufacturing, processes and products
  • Advances in materials characterisation
  • Advances in steel & light metals technology, metal casting & thermomechanical processing
  • Biomaterials & nanomaterials for medicine
  • Ceramics, glass and refractories, including materials for nuclear waste forms & fuels
  • Corrosion & wear resistant materials for demanding environments
  • Materials for energy generation, conversion and storage
  • Materials simulation & modelling
  • Nanostructured/nanoscale materials and interfaces

Poster Session (Day 1)

Each technical poster will be accompanied by the academic who created it, giving attendees the opportunity to discuss the research and have all their questions answered. Not only is this a learning opportunity, but it is also a networking opportunity and a chance for attendees to lend their expertise to their colleagues. Light refreshments will be served throughout the event.

Tips For Creating Your Poster
While there is no need to use a specific poster template, the poster size should be A0 (841 x 1189 mm)

We suggest that you use any visual aids which might clarify the results of your work, such as diagrams, charts, figures, and illustrations. Do not simply display your paper text. Graphics should be simple, colourful, well labelled, and clear.
